One of the UK’s largest care companies could be facing litigation from care workers alleging that they have been paid less than the national minimum wage.

Some of MiHomecare’s staff argue that their pay was below the national minimum wage because they were not paid for time spent travelling between patients.

The company settled a claim brought by one particular carer, Caroline Barlow, in 2015 and it says that since then it has been correcting carers’ pay when it has been found to be wrong.
