Julia has represented both senior individuals and employers in a range of employment claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and negotiated exits. She has a particular interest in disputes involving discrimination. Julia has experience in mediations, Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation. She also has experience advising individuals on settlement agreements and exits.
She has a background in financial services and a particular interest in the retail and charity sectors but has worked with clients in a range of industries including law, banking, retail, and media and entertainment. She advises Employer clients on day-to-day employment matters, employment contracts, policies and procedures, redundancy procedures and employee sickness and misconduct.
In her leisure time Julia enjoys travelling, hiking with friends and running – she has run three marathons in Barcelona, Vienna and Amsterdam.
Julia was admitted as a solicitor in February 2023 and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Before training and qualifying at a media and entertainment law firm, she studied law at Durham where she received a first-class degree and a prize for Employment Law.
