We specialise in resolving a wide variety of high-stakes workplace disputes, whether through litigation or settlement. While we predominantly work with senior executives in the financial sector, our expertise spans multiple sectors, empowering employees to safeguard their careers and reputations. Role Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious employment lawyer with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience to join our expert team
  • The work is interesting; there is minimal corporate support or international project work
  • You will learn new skills and about new areas of law because we are curious and willing to do atypical things for employment lawyers
  • You have a genuine influence on the direction of the firm and the decisions that affect your daily life through the firm-wide strategy process, employee representatives and regular team meetings to which anyone in the firm can (and does) add agenda items
  • The firm is profitable and well run
  • We pay competitively. Everyone in our firm has a stake in the firm’s equity in addition to salary. We have also recently introduced an additional bonus scheme
  • We offer excellent opportunities for career advancement, with a strong track record of promoting from within and supporting professional growth
  • Like most leading private practice law firms there will be times when clients’ matters demand more of our own time but fundamentally we believe in work/life balance and unlike many law firms we don’t want or expect people to work (e.g. to check their work emails) when they are on holiday or at week-ends other than in truly exceptional circumstances

  • Who has experience that so far as possible is relevant to our practice
  • Who can communicate with our clients who are often very senior in a manner which will command confidence
  • Who can adapt to different clients’ needs and empathise with their difficult situations
  • Who is self-aware and conscientious
  • Who is entrepreneurial and can-do in nature
  • And a good team player
