Ed undertook his training contract at one of the big four professional service firms, where he supported clients with disciplinary investigations, discrimination litigation and employment contracts.
Ed is a rare blend of private funds expertise and employment law precision. After qualifying, he joined a Magic Circle firm, advising fund managers on complex fund formation and carried-interest structures. That Magic Circle experience, plus a secondment at an infrastructure investment fund, gave him a front-row view of the commercial realities relevant to those working in the private investment industry.
In his leisure time, Ed enjoys going to the gym, fishing and attempting to surf.
Ed is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Industrial Law Society and was admitted as a solicitor in September 2022.
