Prior to joining BDBF Sophie worked in the employment teams at several major law firms providing knowledge support. Sophie trained at a leading magic circle law firm and worked as an employment lawyer at another City firm before joining a legal publishing company to create the UK’s market-leading employment law know-how product. Sophie worked in legal publishing for 17 years, latterly as a Senior Editorial Director and Chair of the Women’s Network.

Sophie is also an experienced trainer and facilitator and has contributed articles to many publications and media outlets.

Sophie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Sophie was admitted as a Solicitor in March 2001.
