BDBF Partner Claire Dawson and Principal Knowledge Lawyer Amanda Steadman will be attending and speaking at the ABA 18th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference in New York (13-16 November 2024).

Claire’s panel session, entitled “Limitations on Employee Speech in the Workplace: A Cross-Border Review” will consider the expression of political, social and religious belief at work and consider global and local policy approaches to regulating workplace speech.

Amanda will be speaking on a panel session about Women’s Health and Well-Being in the Workplace. With increasing calls for employers to provide workplace support for a range of health issues primarily affecting women, the panel will look at what legislators, employers and courts in different jurisdictions are doing to address these issues, as well as considering best practices for addressing these requirements.
