We are delighted to announce that Polly Rodway will rejoin BDBF as a Partner on 1 October 2026 to lead the firm’s dedicated Investigations and Mediation practice.
Polly has been part of BDBF since its first year, first as a lawyer, then as a Partner and more recently as a Consultant. From October she will give dedicated leadership to the firm’s workplace investigations practice and its new mediation offering.
Drawing on her extensive experience as an employment lawyer, Polly conducts thorough, independent and robust investigations into complex and sensitive workplace matters for listed companies, public sector bodies, professional services firms and privately owned businesses. She is frequently instructed on allegations involving senior executives and leadership teams, including whistleblowing, discrimination, harassment and other serious misconduct issues, often in regulated sectors. Polly’s work balances the need for rigour with a sensitive and people focused approach.
Polly is a CEDR Accredited Mediator and an Associate of the Civil Mediation Council. She has a particular passion for resolving workplace and employment disputes through mediation, using a calm, personable and pragmatic approach to build trust, navigate difficult conversations and help parties find lasting resolutions.
Gareth Brahams, Managing Partner, said: “We are so pleased to welcome Polly Rodway back as a Partner. Polly is one of the most capable and positive people I have ever worked with. Her calm, pragmatic and emotionally intelligent approach, combined with her experience acting on both sides of employment disputes, will give her and BDBF a real edge when it comes to investigations and mediations connected to employment.”
Polly added: “It feels like coming home but with the excitement of giving investigations and mediation work the focused attention it deserves. Clients increasingly need investigators and mediators who combine legal expertise and sound judgement with a genuine understanding of the people and relationships involved. I look forward to helping clients navigate these challenging situations and reach constructive outcomes with people at the centre.”
To discuss an investigation or mediation, please contact Polly or your usual BDBF contact.
